EU funding for the expansion of free Wi-Fi hotspots
The EU is currently providing funding for the expansion of the free hotspot initiative for tourists and citizens.
Under this funding, any municipality can apply for a voucher worth 15,000 euros.
Funded:
- All devices required to operate the Wi-Fi hotspot network, including installation.
Not funded:
- Internet access and other private networks or installations not directly connected with the project.
